Brands: Unilever

The tutor shares an observation about some familiar brands.

Just out of the blue, I wondered today, “Who makes Red Rose tea?” Looking at the box, I saw Unilever (denoted by a pattern-filled “U”).

While Unilever’s brands are instantly recognizable, the Unilever name itself may be less heard. Some of its famous brands are Becel (margarine), Axe (deodorant and grooming products), Red Rose (tea), Dove (soap), and Lipton (food products: soups, etc). There are many others.

Though Unilever has many subsidiaries, it’s British-Dutch.

I’ll be sharing more of my observations about consumer goods in future posts:)
