Windows 10: how (possibly) to open the password field for login if a mouse click doesn’t do it
Home computer use means self-tutoring. The tutor shares an observation.
This computer, before use or after idleness, locks out to a screensaver. To open the password field I have always clicked on the screen. After a few clicks it would open so I could enter the password.
Starting last night, clicking the locked out screen no longer worked to open the password field. I tried clicking it repeatedly, but after a couple of minutes had to admit defeat. It seemed, temporarily, I could not log in to the computer.
I tried pressing the esc key. Thankfully, the password field appeared.
