Self-tutoring about sesame: the tutor begins….

Sesame seeds are a known favourite in snacks and on some baked goods. Yet, I’ve never heard about sesame cultivation, so wondered why not.

It turns out that sesame needs consistent, very warm temperature for growth. The US states that produce most of it are Texas and Oklahoma. Worldwide, India, China, Nigeria, Myanmar, and Tanzania leading producers.
