Self-tutoring about possible careers for students: the tutor mentions agronomist.
What does an agronomist do? An agronomist is trained about how to facilitate crop growth and about the problems that can hinder it. Therefore, an agronomist may advise about which crops (or varieties) to grow in a certain situation. They may also be called in to detect pests, poor soil conditions, or other problems threatening a crop. Furthermore, they may advise about new practices for a given crop in order to increase its value.
