Just key homophone or homonym in the search box to bring up a few earlier articles about them.<\/p>\n<p>As a family, we play Boggle, the old word-find game by Parker Brothers, 1973.  Of course, knowing rare words is handy in that context.<\/p>\n<p>Today, my older son claimed &#8220;wale&#8221;, asking for a dictionary check.  The word turned out to be good:  Webster says it means &#8220;a ridge on cloth&#8221;, like you see with corduroy.
