With the TI-30xa, here&#8217;s how:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Enter the number you want to store on the display.  (It can also appear there as the result of a calculation.)<\/li>\n<li>Press the STO key, then 1, 2, or 3.  (The calculator has three separate memories.)<\/li>\n<li>To retrieve the stored value, press RCL, then 1, 2, or 3, depending on which memory you stored it to.<\/li>\n<li>Storing a value in a memory overwrites what was there previously.<\/li>\n<li>To clear a memory, simply store the value 0 in it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>When something is stored in a memory, M1, M2, or M3 will appear at top left of the display.<\/p>\n<p>As a kid in high school, I used a TI scientific similar to the TI-30xa.
