Find the vertical and horizontal components of its velocity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Solution:<\/p>\n<p>We draw a diagram of the ball&#8217;s motion, resolving its velocity into a horizontal component (v<sub>x<\/sub>) and a vertical component (v<sub>y<\/sub>).
