The tutor shares a trick he just learned.<\/h1>\n

While I use and even program computers, I lack knowledge of the everyday tricks a typical office worker or middle school student might know. People who use computers in group settings learn those tricks from each other. At the computer, I work alone, so I don’t get that input.<\/p>\n

I like a lot of links open on the browser, so I can cross-reference between sources. Today, researching a few (exciting) topics for upcoming posts, I imagined the convenience of opening a link in a new tab, so that the originating source is still available.<\/p>\n

In my experience, when I imagine a trick like that, it’s common knowledge. So with this one:<\/p>\n

To open a link in a new tab, there are two different ways:<\/p>\n

  1. Right-click, then select Open in New Tab<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Ctrl-click.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
