I&#8217;ve been noticing them amongst tall grass by the roadside, and even in a hidden corner of our yard.  They have long, thin, pointed leaves that are basal; the stem and leaves can be 15-30cm long.<\/p>\n<p>The flowers nod, and are pale to dark blue.  There are six petals; they may curl backwards.  Inside, the stamens are yellow, but the pistil is blue.  They have a sweet scent.
