Searching images of &#8220;blue wild flowers&#8221; on the &#8216;net, however, I found the identical plant:  flax.<\/p>\n<p>On the plant I saw, the leaves grow up along the stem and are long and narrow.  They give the stem a woven appearance, similar to that of hedge mustard (see my post <a href=\"?p=15468\">here<\/a>).
