In the yard, it grows along fences or buildings, always the shady side.<\/p>\n<p>Herb-robert is attractive, with fern-like leaves.  It&#8217;s an outward-growing, open plant.  Its stem can be red, as can its leaves.  Both are hairy all around.<\/p>\n<p>Herb-robert&#8217;s flowers are five-petaled, pink, and often in forks of two.
