It includes a way to check hard drive health, as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open command prompt.\n<li>Type <span style=\"font-family:monospace;font-size:130%\"> wmic diskdrive get model, status<\/span> then press Enter.\n<li>A table will appear of the storage devices connected to the computer and their status. A status of OK suggests wmic doesn&#8217;t anticipate failure. It can return &#8220;Pred Fail&#8221; to predict failure.\n<\/ol>\n<p>I ran this command and got OK for the status of the hard drive.
