The tutor talks about &#8220;different from&#8221; and &#8220;different than.&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>\nI recall my mother&#8217;s always correcting the combination <em>different than<\/em>, saying it should instead be <em>different from<\/em>. Yet, I&#8217;ve seen <em>different than<\/em> in an English textbook.
