\nMy wife and I, for the last hour or two of a day, watch television. We have shows we like such as BlackList<\/em> and House of Cards.<\/em> Lately we’ve found a great new one: Secret City<\/em> on Netflix.<\/p>\n \nWe’ve only seen a few episodes. So far, Secret City<\/em> is about a journalist trying to uncover truth that the Australian and perhaps Chinese governments are trying to hide – perhaps even conspiring to hide. The reporter is of course outmanoeuvred, at risk of being crushed between the two governments’ intelligence services. Yet, she’s canny, and manages some surprisingly helpful friends.\n<\/p>\n \nSecret City<\/em> has a subtlety about it you might characterize as Chinese.
