I chose to do so immediately, so pressed Restart.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nI don&#8217;t know exactly, but I suspect the update took between 3.5 and 5 hours. Like I say, this laptop&#8217;s clunky, probably made from leftover parts, so maybe not so fast as yours. However, if I&#8217;d needed to do work with it this morning, I would&#8217;ve been thwarted.<\/p>\n<p>Another observation: the %complete it reports during the process isn&#8217;t necessarily accurate. In my case, at 3 hours in it said 27% done; two hours later it had already finished.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve opened it since the update and it seems zippy enough. Over time, that computer has definitely improved.
