The tutor mentions good vs well.<\/h2>\n<p>\nTechnically, if a car performs well, we say it &#8220;runs well.&#8221; However, having looked over many car ads in my life, I can&#8217;t recall seeing &#8220;runs well&#8221; &#8211; but rather, seeing &#8220;runs good&#8221; often.<\/p>\n<p>I confess, sometime in my early 30s, I started saying &#8220;runs good&#8221; instead of &#8220;runs well&#8221; because it&#8217;s what people expected. My wife even made fun of me about it.<\/p>\n<p>I heard a professor on YouTube say &#8220;runs good&#8221; the other day.
