For instance, a friendly animal may become ornery. On the other hand, an animal typically aloof may become surprisingly friendly.<\/p>\n<p>I read about this phenomenon in reference to skunks, who are vulnerable to acquiring rabies. In such case, a wild skunk may begin acting tame, possibly allowing a child to approach.
