\nIt turns out that salmonella can migrate from the digestive tract to other parts of the body. For instance, it can cause meningitis. It can also attack the tissues surrounding the heart (causing endocarditis). Bone infection or joint infection are also possible from salmonella – you definitely don’t want it.<\/p>\n
\nWhen I was a kid, people licked raw cake batter from the mixing spoon or bowl as a treat – no-one thought twice about it. What was different back then, I wonder? Perhaps I will check it for a future post:)<\/p>\n
