Now, with darkness around 5pm, the body is evident earlier. I can&#8217;t be sure when it&#8217;s central in the sky, but I&#8217;d say it&#8217;s prominent in the southeast around 7pm.<\/p>\n<p>Today I found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeanddate.com\/astronomy\/night\/canada\/vancouver\">timeanddate.com<\/a> has an interactive map showing Mars&#8217; appearance. It suggests that Mars is due south at around 8pm, at altitude of 48.7&deg;.
