Yet, two sources I can easily find suggest that bactrian camels (the two-humped kind) are omnivores.<\/p>\n<p>While bactrian camels prefer to eat plants, they will scavenge carcasses, eat fish, or elsewise consume flesh when there&#8217;s nothing else to eat.<\/p>\n<p>What an adaptation &#8211; a large hoofed mammal being omnivorous.
