In other words, you might have elements safely between &lt;!\u2010\u2010 and  \u2010\u2010&gt; and yet they result in errors. Yes, that&#8217;s possible. I don&#8217;t know if it happens with ordinary html elements, but to my recollection, it does happen with asp elements.
