I wondered if the early voting suggested that people were more serious about this one. The answer is Canadian: maybe, maybe not.<\/p>\n<p>\nIt&#8217;s obvious from yesterday&#8217;s results that, en masse, Canadians don&#8217;t want change &#8211; or if they do, they don&#8217;t hope for it from changing the government.<\/p>\n<p>While there are issues one could point to and proclaim, &#8220;This is serious; this needs to be confronted&#8230;.&#8221; your &#8216;typical Canadian&#8217; doesn&#8217;t seem alarmed. They came out to vote, a face in the crowd, then went back home to get on with life. What do they really fear? Right now, they fear change, apparently.
