Used to elevate the pH of the soil, it&#8217;s relatively fast-acting, perhaps taking effect in a few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Dolomitic lime is a mix of CaCO<sub>3<\/sub> with MgCO<sub>3<\/sub>: what makes it dolomitic is the significant presence of MgCO<sub>3<\/sub>.
