The claims I’ve heard about the Brave browser are that it’s fast and you get less ads from it. I can comment that both are true in my experience. From my point of view, it’s logical, since I believe that latter (less ads) causes it to be faster.<\/p>\n
\nIn some browsers I’ve used, I avoid some sites that have very good content because they’re so loaded with ads that they load very slowly. Moreover, if you’ve left that tab open for awhile, it can take time for it to close, as well, after you click the “X”. I believe it’s the ads on those sites – which keep changing and are often animated – that bog down the tab, the browser itself, and even the computer in some cases. The ads just consume so much computing power that they almost monopolize the resources sometimes.<\/p>\n
\nThe advantage of the Brave browser, from my observation, is that, at a given site, it only shows that site’s own ads (by itself for itself). Therefore, you don’t get, every thirty or sixty seconds, a bunch of new ads clamoring for space on the screen.<\/p>\n
