The carrots, cukes, and pumpkins seem to be doing all right; the peppers never really came up. It&#8217;s a small garden with three rows.<\/p>\n<p>\nNormally I drop the kitchen vegetable waste into a compost heap outside and turn it. However, I decided, this summer, to do something different: I just spread the it in the troughs between the planted rows of the garden.
