How the Americans let this happen might boggle one&#8217;s mind, if one cares to think about it. Most apparently don&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>\nNow, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. wants to produce chips in Arizona, but warns that may be delayed because of a lack of skilled workers available there. This might hardly be surprising; at home, in a country of around 24 million people, Taiwan can apparently count on a more highly developed work force: once again, its economic complexity is 3rd worldwide, vs 14th for the US.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe US used to import talent from all over the world to keep its global edge.
