\nI buy very fine, powdery lime. The pellet stuff might be more convenient in some ways, but last I checked it seemed to cost about twice as much. Therefore, I just buy the powdery, unrefined lime and lay it down on the lawn using a drop spreader.<\/p>\n
\nThe powdery lime clumps when it gets wet, so you need a dry day. Then again, it blows away in the wind, so it’s best to have a still day. Dry, still days aren’t very common where I live, but today has been one. Noticing this earlier, I hurried outside and started liming. I had five bags to put down, so it took a few hours.
