\nOnce in a while, one does witness one of these occurrences, so realizes they do indeed happen. An example was one day I saw a family of raccoons crossing the road. Now and then, I’d been seeing raccoons around the neighbourhood at night. Yet, at that moment, I realized they must cross the road each evening just as I was witnessing. I couldn’t have imagined it, until I saw it.<\/p>\n
\nAnother time, I recall seeing a security guard walk around a building, checking all its doors to verify it was secure for the night. Until seeing that event, I didn’t know it happened. Moreover, I’d been around that building for years.<\/p>\n
\nLast weekend, I saw a new sports car turn a few lazy laps around a school parking lot. It seemed to me the driver was getting used to the car. Naturally, when someone buys a new sports car, they practice driving it.
