(Giga is the metric prefix for billion.) Such a factory might produce battery capacities of billions of Watt-hours per year, for instance. To put that into perspective, my cell phone&#8217;s capacity might be 11 Watt-hours.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nGigafactories are talked about in the news these days.
