A simple answer is &#8220;from a magnetron.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\nTo explain more, here&#8217;s what happens:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A cathode (negatively charged metal rod) is heated. A positively charged body, called an anode, is nearby.
