The tutor mentions how to determine divisibility by 6.<\/h2>\n<p>\nIn my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oracletutoring.ca\/blog\/divisibility-by-3-divisibility-by-9\/\">post about divisibility by 3 and 9,<\/a> I mention that if a number is divisible by 3, the sum of its digits is. Therefore, 714 is divisible by 3 because 7+1+4=12. It&#8217;s true: 714=3&#215;238.<\/p>\n<p>\nA number is divisible by 6 if it&#8217;s divisible by 2 and 3 (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oracletutoring.ca\/blog\/math-an-interesting-thing-about-30\/\">my post here<\/a> for insight about this).
