Up to me, I wouldn&#8217;t use Windows, but my wife likes it; I&#8217;ll admit it&#8217;s good in some ways. However, when your C (booting) drive is going down on a Windows computer, it&#8217;s more of a problem than with Linux, from my point of view.<\/p>\n<p>\nSince Windows is proprietary, etc., one realizes one might need the product key to reinstall on a new C drive. I started looking in the box the computer came in, then for a decal on the PC itself.
