The tutor mentions Phylum Echinodermata.<\/h2>\n<p>\nEchinodermata includes sea stars, sea urchins, sea cucumbers and sand dollars. All of its species are marine. They tend to have five lines of symmetry evenly spaced around a circle.<\/p>\n<p>\nNotable features of echinoderms:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>a water-vascular system which brings in resources and conducts waste away;<\/li>\n<li>tube feet which provide locomotion and can be used to capture prey and open shells;<\/li>\n<li>strong ability to regenerate, even possibly an entire new individual from a severed arm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Echinoderms tend to have, to varying degrees, a spiny surface. They have an endoskeleton, as well as a simple nervous system, one nerve running through each arm. Pressure from the water vascular system is used operate the tube feet.
