\nBack in 2015, Baylis ran in the Pierrefonds-Dollard electoral district, and won with an impressive 58.7 percent of the vote.<\/p>\n
\nBaylis is an engineer whose business has been with medical technologies. Both in business and politics, Baylis has managed success.<\/p>\n
\nAsked how he would pay for health care and other programs, Baylis says that increasing productivity could help a lot. As an example, Baylis mentioned making the government 3% more efficient in helping businesses. That productivity would trickle down, making businesses more productive, etc.<\/p>\n
\nSince Canada’s deficit in 2023 was 2.5% of gdp, increasing productivity by 3%, across the board, might be in line with what Canada needs.<\/p>\n
\nBaylis’s aim toward straightforward, achievable goals could resonate with Canadians.<\/p>\n
