One needs both good diet and exercise, of course, to stay healthy. However, the idea was that doing more exercise couldn&#8217;t make up for a bad diet. For me, a person who loves food, that&#8217;s come as a hard realization.<\/p>\n<p>\nI&#8217;ve been on a low-fat vegan diet for maybe two months now, and it seems I feel better. I&#8217;ve lost around ten pounds, which is less than I expected, I have to admit. Nevertheless, I&#8217;ve managed to fit back into many of the clothes I like, so I&#8217;m happy about that.<\/p>\n<p>\nBefore I went low-fat vegan, my weight continued to creep up, even though I ran stairs three times a week for about 20 minutes each time. I don&#8217;t run the stairs now, and my weight&#8217;s creeping down. I still do yard work, housework, etc, so I do get exercise.
