Perhaps previous occupants planted it; perhaps it escaped from somewhere else. It&#8217;s well established, however it arrived.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe parsley grows along the foundation, both of the house and also the shed. It tries to expand further into the yard, but isn&#8217;t allowed to. I&#8217;d say it grows year-round, at least some years.<\/p>\n<p>\nSome of the parsley grows in full sun, while its sister plants, a foot north and on the other side of a light-blocking fence, grow in what one might call virtually full shade &#8211; or close enough. Yet, the parsley on the sunny side seems not to have advantage over that on the shaded side.<\/p>\n<p>\nI looked up parsley to confirm it&#8217;s meant to be shade tolerant, which apparently it is.
