Therefore, I couldn&#8217;t use olive oil or tahini.<\/p>\n<p>\nI started mashing up chick peas with a potato masher, then added some lemon juice, some garlic, and a bit of salt. I adjusted the garlic upward, but the lemon downward, as I mashed in more chick peas.<\/p>\n<p>\nI&#8217;d say my ratios turned out to be about two cans of chick peas, three tablespoons of lemon juice, a head of garlic, and salt to taste (not much).
