A few years back, when we got a new dishwasher, I heard it mentioned that we should not fill the compartments, but instead use much less than that.<\/p>\n<p>\nWe tried that for a couple of years, but often, some dishes came out still dirty. Moreover, other problems began, such as the dishwasher not draining properly.<\/p>\n<p>\nFinally, the decision was made to increase the dishwashing detergent. We don&#8217;t quite fill the compartments, but much closer than before.
