\nI mention in my post from August 2<\/a> my discovery of the usefulness of scrubbing sponges for scraping rust from the undercarriage of a car. I’ve since discovered yet more uses for the scrubbing sponges.<\/p>\n \nLately I’ve been using scrubbing sponges to clean the threads on wheel studs and in lug nuts. The neat thing about the scrubbing sponges is how easily one can shape them amongst the threads.<\/p>\n \nFor the lug nuts, one can cut a piece of sponge that will fit therein, then thread it in all the way, afterwards twisting it back out.
