It seemed to grow easily there along the margins of fields or lawns.<\/p>\n<p>\nToday I was reading about weeds and what they might indicate about their environment: apparently, plantain suggests acidic conditions. One might put this idea with the one above, and wonder if the soil in P.E.I. might be acidic?<\/p>\n<p>\nApparently, soil in P.E.I. does tend towards acidity.
