\nEvery so often I vacuum out my wife’s vehicle with the shop vac. It’s got to be done: around here, especially during rainy periods, a lot of dirt and fine gravel gets tracked into a daily driver. Moreover, people seem to appreciate a clean car.<\/p>\n
\nSometimes I remove the rugs and drum out the dust and dirt before vacuuming them. Between those methods, the dust and dirt seem relatively easy to take care of. What isn’t, though, is hair — unless you bring Scotch-Brite cleaning rollers into the arsenal.<\/p>\n
\nA Scotch-Brite cleaning roller is simple to use: it’s a plastic handle wrapped in sheets that are sticky to the outside. One presses and rolls the cleaning roller against the surface one wants to clean, and it picks up hair and debris from it.<\/p>\n
\nWhen the current sheet is “full”, it stops picking stuff up. Then, one tears that sheet off and throws it away, revealing a new sheet. A surface with lots of debris can require several sheets to clear it.<\/p>\n
