(Why I was comparing them, well, that&#8217;s for another post.)<\/p>\n<p>\nI noticed with one, that the BIOS date is from 2020. I&#8217;m not too surprised, since I&#8217;ve never updated it.<\/p>\n<p>\nYet, on the other, the BIOS date is July 2023, which is about a year after we purchased it. Moreover, I&#8217;m pretty sure I&#8217;ve never updated the BIOS on that device.<\/p>\n<p>\nIt turns out that Windows Update can update the BIOS automatically on a device with Windows 11.
