\nYesterday I needed to send a report, accessed online, to a help desk.<\/p>\n\n
\nIn my experience, pictures matter in such cases. While it would have been easy to just tell, in the help request, what the report said, the techs seem to like screenshots. I guess it makes sense: the tech wants to be sure the correspondent is explaining the situation correctly.<\/p>\n
\nI use numerous computers, with a few different operating systems, etc. In this case it was Linux, with Firefox. (I mention, for instance, how to get a screenshot in Edge, in my post on August 28, 2024.<\/a>) Yet, it’s been awhile since I took a screenshot in the context of Firefox, so I wasn’t sure, that instant, how to proceed.<\/p>\n \nI checked around and discovered it’s easier than I thought in such a case.
