\nWe are in a decluttering phase. (See my post from April 24, 2026,<\/a> for some background.<\/a>) <\/p>\n \nAs one gets deeper among the accumulated items, one might find things bought, but never used. Such was the case yesterday: I found a Harry’s starter kit for shaving. It had been bought some time ago, likely post Christmas, but then set aside. Afterwards, something else was put on top of it, and so on. In a busy time, such things easily happen.<\/p>\n \nSo I looked at the Harry’s shaving kit. “Is this a gift for someone?” I asked my wife.<\/p>\n \n“No,” she answered. “We might have bought it for you.”<\/p>\n \nI don’t shave very often, nor am I very good at it. Yet, I don’t have a beard; I shave enough that I can always be clean-shaven when I want to be. This morning, I opened the Harry’s package and tried out the razor.<\/p>\n \nThese Harry’s cartridges have five blades apiece. They seem a little less forgiving than the three-blade cartridges I regularly use. However, they seem to give a noticeably closer shave as well.<\/p>\n \nThe Harry’s kit includes some general guidelines towards successful shaving, including doing short strokes. It makes sense, so I made a point of doing so.
