\nI visit the idea of verbs with multiple meanings with the case of the French verb faire, in my post from April 9, 2022.<\/a> Now, I continue with the French verb manquer.<\/p>\n \nIn French, manquer can mean “to miss”: for instance,<\/p>\n \nJ’ai manqu\u00e9 le match.\/I missed the game.<\/p>\n \nYet, it can also mean “to lack”:<\/p>\n \nThey lack enough time to prepare.\/Ils manquent assez de temps pour se pr\u00e9parer.<\/p>\n \nWhen it comes to French, I’m no expert.
