\nI mention in my post from August 26<\/a> that I visited Kamloops in August. There, I saw some prickly-pear cacti in the field.<\/p>\n \nI first noticed, in a public garden, a prickly-pear growing outside. Said plant was established, so I wondered if perhaps it could tolerate the climate there.<\/p>\n \nI decided to explore the field, hoping to find prickly-pear in nature. It didn’t take long to find one, just off from a road.<\/p>\n \nThe prickly-pear I saw in nature was what I’d describe as a ground-crawling specimen, rather than upright.
