Yet, how measurable should it be?<\/p>\n<p>\nI got the impression in <a href=\"https:\/\/paulwilliamscoaching.ca\/blog\/2026\/09\/29\/most-lifting-plateaus-are-just-normal-progression\/\">this article at paulwilliamscoaching.ca<\/a> that what seems like a plateau can actually be a more like a step on a stairway. Progress might be happening constantly, but not measurably. At some point, the progress will accumulate enough to manifest in an extra rep, capability to lift extra weight, or what have you. <\/p>\n<p>\nNext, perhaps, the trainer will find they remain at that new level for some time: it might seem like a new plateau.
