Calculator usage: degree, rad and grad mode on the Staples BD-6120G
The tutor mentions how to change trig units on the Staples BD-6120G.
For grade 10 and 11 math students, degree mode is probably needed. You know if you’re in degree mode by a capital D at the top of the display, just right of centre.
For a calculus student, rad mode is more likely needed. If you’re in rad mode, you’ll see a capital R at the top of the display, just right of centre.
To change between degrees, rads, and grads, here’s how:
- Press the MODE key three times. You’ll see ANGLE? with a choice between Deg, Rad, and Gra.
- Arrow to the mode you want, then press =.
