English: what does imposture mean?

Tutoring English, neat surprises are common. The tutor shares the find imposture.

Back in my post from Aug 30 I mention the words imposter and impostor. Today I bring up the related noun, imposture.

imposture (noun):
what an imposter does. Imposture means, generally, deception. In particular, it points to the pretense that an imposter would carry out.
