English: intractable
Tutoring English, vocabulary is always interesting. The tutor mentions the word intractable.
intractable: difficult to solve or navigate.
My understanding is that intractable can refer to a problem, terrain, or a person. I don’t think I’ve ever used it, and have only seen it a handful of times. Yet, it’s a great word.
